Islands surrounding Lanzarote

Island of Lobos

Tiny island in the south of Lanzarote facing Fuerteventura. There are pleasant excursions from Marina Rubicón or Puerto del Carmen sailing on a catamaran to the islet and then in zodiac to the shore of the island. During the crossing you can see whales and dolphins (dolphin route). There is one nice beach, Concha de Lobos. There are no restaurants or accommodations.

Island of La Gracioso

Small island in the North of Lanzarote. You can take a 30min boat from Orzola, certainly worth the trip. You can see the island from on Lanzarote. There is one little village, Caleta de Sebo, which has a few restaurants, and some nice beaches (La Francésa, Montaña Amarilla and the beautiful La Concha beach). Our suggestion is to rent a bike in Caleta de Sebo, and explore this little island.

Island of Fuerteventura

Large island in the south of Lanzarote with some of the best beaches in Europe with miles and miles of white sand, turquoise waters. The most popular beaches are Corralejo, Barlovento, Cofete, Costa Calma, Playa del Moro, Esquinzo – Butihondo, Great Tarajal, Playa Blanca, and Esquinzo. By driving on the FV-2 road you can get to most beaches.
